A spectacular walk along Gower's longest beach taking in the woods at Nicholaston and Tor Bay. Arriving at the Oxwich Bay Hotel or The Beach House for welcome refreshment.

Distance: 6.5 miles (return trip)

Time: 3 hours (including a drink!)

1. Leave the shop, turn right and walk down the lane 30 metres and turn left down the lane (follow sign “to the beach”).

2. Carry on down the hill to the beach. Do not walk over the stepping stones, and instead bare right and walk towards the sand dunes.

3. If the tide is in, climb the hill onto the cliff path. Follow path around the cliff until you can drop down onto the beach.

4. If the tide is out follow the beach around the headland.

5. Walk across Tor Bay and follow the bay for 3 miles, until you reach the Beach House or The Oxwich Bay Hotel.

6. Then do it all again, back to the campsite. This walk will definitely blow the cob webs away.
